The temperamental supermodel was sentenced to 200 hours of community service after pleading guilty to assaulting two police officers during an "air rage" incident at Heathrow Airport in early April.

Campbell, who's known for her tempestuous behavior and frequent confrontations with her staff, faces substantial fines and up to six months in jail should she's found guilty to the six offense charges stemmed from an April incident during which she spat at British Airways cabin crew and police who removed her from a flight in handcuffs while waiting on the tarmac at Heathrow. She, nevertheless, managed to avoid jail sentence, pleaded guilty to the charges, admitting to kicking and spitting at police officers after going off at airline staff for losing her luggage.

Is said to have regretted the incident and looked forward to tell her side of the story, Campbell was on Friday, June 20 sentenced to 200 hours of community service, ordered to pay 200 pounds ($400) to each of the police officers she attacked and 150 pounds ($300) to Miles Sutherland, the captain of the British Airways plane she disrupted, and also a 2,300 pounds ($4,600) fine.

After a court hearing, a spokesman for Campbell told the press the catwalk queen was "very, very relieved" the incident was over. Last year she was sentenced to a week of community service, during which she spent time mopping floors and cleaning bathrooms in New York City after admitting "reckless assault" for throwing a mobile phone at one of her housekeepers.
