The rapper has been picked as the final performance to play at the prestigious running event's concert.
Having just finished performing at the Bonnaroo Festival on Sunday, June 15, Kanye West is set to perform at another major concert. The rapper has been tapped to perform at the post race concert of the biggest one-day running event, Nike+Human Race.
The concert is being held in a unique way as in each city where the running is being held the participants will be treated with a special music show which features famous musicians. The event itself, taking place on August. 31, will be held in 25 cities in all around the world, and it will start in Taipei and end in L.A.
Beside Kanye, other famous names that will also perform at the running event's concert are Moby and Kelly Rowland. Unfortunately those artists won't be performing at the same stage, Kanye will headline the Los Angeles gig, Kelly is set to play in Paris, while Moby will take the stage in London.
Commenting about his excitement to be performing at the special event, Kanye said to the press, "This race is bringing together hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world to run and listen to some great music while serving a higher cause, and I'm excited to perform in L.A. as part of the grand finale."
