So far, clues to the sequel of hit blockbuster actioneer "Transformers", "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen", are mostly coming from the filmmakers behind the movie about the alien robots' war on Earth and the buzzes circulating are chiefly focused on the robots. But, what about Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes? What should be expected from the relationship of the two? Banes' depicter, Megan Fox, has the answer to that as well as many other things about the script.
Sharing her insight on the new installment of "Transformers" movie, the 22-year-old let out that amongst the epic battle between the Autobots and Decepticons, fans will also be presented with the blossoming romance between the two leading human characters. "Shia and I make out a little bit; I don't know if anyone wants to see that," confessed the rising starlet to MTV. The good news to her fans is that they will see more of her being simply hot as requested by director Michael Bay. "His main note to me is just to look hot; so I try my best," so claimed the actress.
With the knowledge that "Transformers" is basically an action movie focused on the war between two alien robot clans, Fox noted that the script for the romance scenes has to undergo some re-work to make it all fit into the tidbit. "You know, we've been having script meetings, and we've been reworking the script, because they wrote it fast because of the writer's strike," explained the "Jennifer's Body" star. "And, we've just been going through and trying to do some character stuff for Shia and myself in the middle of this crazy world that they're in."
Aside from noting that the film will see the romance between Witwicky and Banes sparking, Fox promises that "Revenge of the Fallen" will be bigger and badder than the first. "As big as the first movie was, this is 10 times as big, 10 times as many set pieces, explosions, and acrobatic stunts," revealed the co-star of Lindsay Lohan in "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen". "I can tell you that we're on locations in some really exotic places. It's just going to be a badass movie. It's just going to be a popcorn-visual-spectacle, summer film."
"Revenge of the Fallen" is currently undergoing its production taking the principal photography from the locations like National Air and Space Museum in Washington, University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and many others. It is starred by Shia LaBeouf, Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro and Rainn Wilson among others. DreamWorks SKG will release it on the silver screen on June 26, 2009.
