Another Spears successor is born. Jamie Lynn Spears, the younger sister of pop star Britney Spears, has given birth to a baby daughter on Thursday, June 19. The newborn baby, named Maddie Briann, is her first child with fiance Casey Aldridge.
Maddie was born Thursday at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Mississippi. She weighed 7 lbs., 11 ounces.
On Wednesday, June 18 Jamie Lynn's sister Britney, father Jamie and brother Bryan flew from L.A. to their hometown of Kentwood, Lousiana to be with her for the birth. Her mother Lynne, meanwhile, had been with her helping her get ready for the baby.
"Just the family was there," a source told People about the birth, adding that "Everyone is healthy and happy."
Jamie Lynn announced in December last year that she's pregnant. To OK! magazine she openly revealed that she's carrying Casey's child. Since that time on she's been keeping herself away from media spotlight.
Having her Nickelodeon show "Zoey 101" already completed, Jamie Lynn went home to prepare for the birth of her baby. She, 17, and Casey, 19, got engaged in March. Recently, the couple purchased a three-bedroom home in Liberty, Miss., where he went to high school.

Leave her alone, like any of you haven't made a choice and had to live with the consequences. She'll be a good mum. Give her chance to show her colors before you pass your judgement! My best friend is 18 and has a baby and she is an inspiration to everyone who knows her! So keep your mouths SHUT!!! X

I think it was worng for her to get pregnant in the first place and she is a bad role model for little kids who watched her tv show.
