Lil Wayne Stands Tall on the Billboard Hot 200

Having its first week sale reaching the 1 million mark insures Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter III" to top this week's Billboard Hot 200 Chart. The sale of Wayne's new LP is the biggest this year as it follows 50 Cent's 2005 LP, "The Massacre"'s achievement which also reach the 1 million mark on its first week.

Following the "Lollipop" hit maker at #2 comes Plies with his latest set "Definition of Real" which was sold about 215,000 copies this past weekend. The compilation hit songs, "Now28" drops its previous spot from #2 to #3.

Last week's top seater, Disturbed's "Indestructible" slips even further from #1 to #4 this week. Usher's "Here I Stand" continues to lose its position on the chart as it drops again to #5 from last week's #3. Legendary band Journey, also suffer a slip of position after their wal-mart edition package "Revelation" has to drop from #5 to #6 this week.

Acquiring this week's #7 spot is N.E.R.D with their first LP since 2004, "Seeing Sounds". Debuting at #8 is Alanis Morissette with her latest outing "Flavors of Entanglement". Meanwhile, the #9 position this week is being grabbed by My Morning Jacket with "Evil Urges" and finishing up the top ten position is Weezer with their "Weezer (Red Album)", which falls 6 steps on the chart after having the #4 position last week.
