There have yet official words on why she has to cancel her Australian tour, and while people are questioning the motive behind the cancellation new rumor surfaces by the hour that she may be pregnant.
Is she or isn't she? Mary J. Blige has fueled pregnancy rumors in the wake of her postponed Australian concert. And while the R&B artist and her camp cited exhaustion as the reason for the canceled tour, rumors have been spreading like wildfire throughout Internet gossip websites that the cancellation might have something to do with her pregnancy.
Blige is currently touring the U.K. and initially planned to kick off her show in Perth on June 10. The tour supposedly includes several stops in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland before finishing up on June 17 in Wellington.
Exhaustion from an overwhelming tour schedule, unfortunately, has forced Blige to scrap all the concerts. She has apologized and urged fans to see her in November. In a statement addressed to her fans Blige said, "Postponing these shows has been an extremely difficult decision for me and I am sincerely sorry that I will not be able to fulfill my tour commitments, but I assure you that the November shows will be well worth the wait."
Broke the pregnancy speculation, MediaTakeOut cited an insider as saying Blige may be pregnant. "Mary has decided to scale down her performance schedule for the next few months ... I know that she may be tired, but it doesn't make sense to leave money like that on the table," so said the insider. "If she had a health reason or she was pregnant, we'd understand ... but otherwise it doesn't make any sense."
Another insider, in addition, also stated "I know for a fact that she's been looking forward to children for some time ... It just makes a lot of sense that she'd be trying to get pregnant now."
No words from Blige herself and her people concerning the pregnancy rumors.
