Clint Eastwood's 'Changeling' Out in Big Screen in October

Universal Pictures have announced the two release dates of the upcoming period drama thriller from the 'Letters from Iwo Jima' filmmaker.

AceShowbiz - After including his latest period drama movie into the competition at the 61st Cannes Film Festival, the awards-winning filmmaker Clint Eastwood seems to finally be ready to present "Changeling" to the public. A new report coming out about the movie unveiled that Universal Pictures have given specific release date to the tidbit.

The thriller movie starring Angelina Jolie and supported by John Malkovich and Amy Ryan among others has now been set to have its limited release on October 24. Additionally, following the limited viewing, the film will be widely screened in theaters across the country a week after the limited release on October 31.

Based on the true event of the Wineville Chicken Murders, "Changeling" which is French titled as "The Exchange" for Cannes Film Festival tells the story of Christine Collins, a woman who lives in 1920s Los Angeles at the era of an infamous kidnapping and murder case. One day, Collins finds her son gone astray, but months later, he is returned to her. Still, instead of rejoicing about his coming back, she suspects that the boy isn't her biological child. She then begins a fight to find the truth.
