'Watchmen' Video Journal Presents Awesome Stunts

A new video production journal of 'Watchmen' has been released and it centers on the prison riot scene where many great action stunts are delivered.

AceShowbiz - While waiting for the official trailer of the Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' comic books adaptation movie to be released, the fans of "Watchmen" have been given the opportunity to get a behind-the-scene look into the production of the action fantasy tidbit with the posting of "Watchmen" video production journal. The video comes from the film's stunt coordinator and thus, it focuses the stunt works.

The outing of this journal follows the release of previous production journal which explains about the costumes used in the flick. Timed at 2:25, it showcases several awesome stunts, including a man being thrown out from the second floor and another man being set on fire. The video journal also features the preparation of Douglas Chapman, the stuntman, before he is set on fire as well as the explanation from Damon Caro, the movie's fight choreographer and stunt coordinator.

From the director of "300" Zack Snyder comes another comic book adaptation movie about a group of former vigilantes seeking to uncover the truth behind the death of many heroes in the alternate America. It will see Patrick Wilson as Nite Owl, Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach, Billy Crudup as Doctor Manhattan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as The Comedian, Malin Akerman as Silk Spectre and many others. The Warner Bros. Pictures' flick will arrive in the big screen on March 6, 2009.
