The singer/actress has finally confirmed more details regarding her upcoming debut album, revealing its title and time of release.

AceShowbiz - After having the new single "Spotlight" from her upcoming debut album leaked on-line earlier this week, Jennifer Hudson finally reveals more details about her new set. She confirms that her debut record will be self-titled and is planned to hit the stores in September via Arista Records.
On the new LP, previously she has also confirmed that she will take Alicia Keys and India.Arie as her mentors on the work of the record. Not only those two musicians, Jennifer will also get help from other famous names, such as Timbaland, Robin Thicke and Diane Warren on the debut set.
As for her song, she has also confirmed that the single will be the first from her new album. The track, written by Ne-Yo, will get an official release through radios in the U.S. starting on June 9.
Besides preparing the release of her new LP, the singer recently has just finished recording a song "All Dressed In Love" which will be one the songs for the "Sex and the City" movie soundtrack. The soundtrack album itself will hit the stores on May 27.
