The country singer once again grabs the top award of the annual Academy of Music Awards, making it his fourth straight victories.

AceShowbiz - Kenny Chesney proves his dominance on the country music realms, grabbing the top honor of the Academy of Music Awards, the Entertainer of the Year Award. This year's victory is Kenny's fourth in a row and it also means that he ties Garth Brooks who also has won the category four times.

Different from its previous proceeds, this year's Entertainer of the Year Award is being voted directly by the audience. At the stage, after receiving the award Kenny said, "This one is really extra special because long before I had a hit record the fans always came to my show, and I want to thank you guys for voting and being there for me."

Despite being grateful for winning the award, Kenny also stated a bit of his critics regarding the fans involvement on deciding the award winner. "It really diminishes the integrity of the music. It's not about flying somebody to some shows and seeing how hard you can push some buttons on the Internet," Kenny said.

Not only grabbing two awards, but also the country singer highlighted the annual event with a live performance. Besides Kenny, other performers who also light up the night are Garth, Taylor Swift and many more. Meanwhile, the awards itself is hosted by Reba McEntire.
