Even if she doesn't write her own music, she does choose to sing songs. It's as much her fault as the writer. The songs aren't exactly alike but they're close enough for me to agree that Rockstar was ripped off from Scotty Doesn't Know. It was way too similar for it to be a coincidence. I'm a song writer/singer and I know it's hard to copy any song as much as this one did without it being intentional. Although you can call me biased, I personally dislike Miley Cyrus. But as a singer she should make sure the songs she sings are original. It's her responsibility in the end. If she doesn't have the power to turn down a song, then she isn't really a musician. Musicians have all the say on their music. (They should, anyway.)
