M.I.A. a.k.a. Mathangi "Maya" Arulpragasam is creating her own clothing line which includes bomber jackets, leggings, and t-shirts with graphic prints.

Is a vocalist, record producer, songwriter/composer and visual artist, M.I.A. is turning herself into fashion designer. Becoming the model for fashion designer Marc Jacobs' spring 2008 line has apparently given her the inspiration to finally come out with her own line of clothing.

On her venturing into the fashion business, the British rapper explained "You can't really be dressed in Marc Jacobs' clothes when you're on tour. They're too nice." That's why "I have my own label now," so she said, referring her collection as "the only thing I've been wearing recently."

The eponymous collection, according to reports, includes bomber jackets, leggings and t-shirts, all done up in the bold hues and graphic prints for which the singer is known.

"With my stuff, because everything's really bright, if you lose it or someone steals it, you can see it from miles away and you can be like, 'Oy! Give me my shirt back!'" M.I.A. joked.

Below are the two pics that show M.I.A.'s fashion collection.
