R'n'B singer Alicia Keys reportedly has inked a $25 million deal with beverage company Glaceau to front a new campaign for its Vitamin Water line.
It seems Alicia Keys' pockets just got a little fatter. The R&B artist reportedly has signed a deal with Glaceau to front a new campaign for its Vitamin Water line that is expected to net her more than $25 million. Details of the deal are set to be announced publicly next week.
Fronting the beverage brand, Alicia follows the footstep of rap mogul 50 Cent who once fronted the health-conscious products. He, however, sold his 10% share of Glaceau, as the Coca Cola company acquired the smaller drinks operation for a whopping $4.1 billion. The rapper netted $400 million in the deal.
Alicia's deal as the new face of Vitamin Water is considered "very ironic" taking into account Fiddy's recent comments, calling her out on her recent interview with Blender magazine to which she made disparaging statements about gangsta rap music.
"I don't like Alicia Keys no more [for] the same reason why I said that I don't like Oprah Winfrey," Fiddy said. "I'm prejudice[d]. I don't like people who don't like me."
