AceShowbiz - Controversial rapper Snoop Dogg never stops exploring his creativity in making new projects. This time the rapper is set to go country on his new single. This fact was revealed by Snoop himself to MTV news in an interview with the music channel.

Speaking about his new single which will be called "My Medicine", Snoop said, "Next is 'My Medicine'. It has a country music feel about it. I shoot the video in Amsterdam and Nashville during the Country Music Awards." The rapper added that although it would be different from any of his previous songs, he is certain that fans will still dig it. "It's not a typical hip-hop song, but once people listen to it and see the visual effect to it, they're gonna enjoy it," Snoop said.

Revealing about the reason he makes the song a little bit country Snoop stated, "I think I have more room than ever to do as I please. I've made so many records that were true to hip-hop, true to Snoop Dogg and true to the West Coast and gangsta rap in genre. Now it's time for me to make records that feel good to me and venture out." To make the upcoming clip having more country vibe, the rapper also features country singer "Willie Nelson" on the new video.

His new song is taken from his latest album "Ego Trippin'" which has been released on March 11. "My Medicine" is being set as the fourth single from that album.

Meanwhile, in the interview Snoop also revealed about a new album which at the moment is called "Malice in Wonderland". The rapper said that he wanted to make the record sounds like composer Lalo Schirfin's music stating, "He conducted some music for me that was so sinister, so evil, mean and dark. I just wanted to make a record like that. That's just the way I feel." Unfortunately, the upcoming album hasn't had a release date yet.
