What happen when you put a big fat lazy panda voiced by the comical Jack Black in an animated Kung Fu movie? You'll get a hilarious DreamWorks' latest film with the name of "Kung Fu Panda" and that is exactly what the second trailer wants to put across. Though relatively short with less than two minutes of running time, the trailer still manages to bring chuckles, if better laughters in.
Introducing the kung fu masters made legend by their ancient style of kung fu, the trailer kicks off with a subtle description made by narrator for typical classic martial art movies. However, the collected voice of the narrator quickly turns temperamental when the last character he is preluding doesn't strike a glorious pose like the others, even worse he even has yet to show his face on screen. The slacker turns up to be Panda, the last creature others think of being the "Chosen One".
Though the beginning of the footage seems similar to the earlier teaser, it still provides new looks into the action comedy film. It also gives out glimpses of the clips showing the sidesplitting fight between Panda and the powerful enemy. The new trailer can be seen directly below or via AceShowbiz.
Telling the story of a dreamer who gets his chance to live up his dream, "Panda" follows a noodle restaurant's lazy waiter, Po who is a kung fu fanatic but doesn't have what it takes to be a kung fu master. However, when the toughest enemies come to destroy the serenity of the ancient China, other kung fu masters are forced to bring Po into shape and make him a real kung fu fighter as what has been written in a prophecy. Coming into theaters on June 6, "Panda" teams up directors John Stevenson and Mark Osborne with a string of notable thesps, including Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu and Dustin Hoffman, in bringing the comical animation to fruition.
