Rihanna 'Very Close' with Chris Brown, Calls Jay-Z Romance Rumors 'Crazy'

Always playing it coy whenever she's asked about her alleged romance with Chris Brown, Rihanna kisses and tells about her much-reported relationship with the R&B singer and she, furthermore, also addresses on the Jay-Z romance rumors. To the June 2008 issue of Elle magazine the Barbados singer talks about such matters, as her hair, formerly alcoholic father, and the success of her single "Umbrella". But when it comes to Chris Brown, she doesn't talk much.

"We've always been friends, but we're very close now," so she told the magazine when being asked on her relationship with Chris. Regarding the other man in her life, mentor and boss Jay-Z, Rihanna did put to rest the long persistent romance rumors, labeled them as "crazy."

"Well, it's crazy that you ask me that. People know that it's not true," the Grammy-winning singer told Elle. "I think it's kinda a cliche question, and people know it's not true, so I don't even know why it's still addressed to this day. I get asked about it all the time and I'm like, You're asking, but you know the answer. I don't even like to address it anymore."
