The reunited boy band will mark their comeback by releasing a new single titled "Summertime" and a cover art has been unveiled.
Legendary boy band New Kids On The Block really take their reunion seriously and plan a new single to celebrate it. The group who have been separated for about 14 years, have confirmed that they will release their new single titled "Summertime" on May 13 via digital music services.
The boy band released the news through a blog posting on their official website yesterday (May 1). The single is also planned to be the opener before they will release a full album this fall. Meanwhile, the official cover art for the new single has been revealed on their official site.
Not just preparing to release a new single, the band have also planned come back concerts which will start on May 17 at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J. Before that, to kick start their come back shows, New Kids will also perform on NBC's Today Show on May 16.
New Kids are being heralded as the pioneer of boy band after their huge success and fame in the late 1980's to early 1990's. They decided to split up in 1994 after releasing six studio albums and having three number one singles in U.S.
