The English rock band makes their fans happy by giving a chance to download their new single for free.


English band Coldplay spoil their fans by giving them a chance to listen and download their new single for free. The band's upcoming single "Violet Hill" is being made available on their official website starting from today (April 29) until next week.

Not only can be viewed on Coldplay's official site, today "Violet Hill" will have its official radio release. The new single is taken from their upcoming fourth album "Viva la Vida or Death and all His Friends", which will be released on June 17 in U.S.

Commenting on the new songs of their new album and the unique way in promoting it, the band's lead singer Chris Martin said, "We're still obsessed with making songs that can be sung to the rafters. We just wanted to present them differently."

Besides giving a free viewing for the new single, Coldplay will also hold free concerts at London's Brixton Academy on June 16 and Madison Square Garden in N.Y. on June 23. As for the tickets, the band make a competition for it and will announce the winner through their site.
