Latin Grammy Award-nominated reggaeton singer/rapper Don Omar reportedly has tied the knot with television weatherperson and journalist Jackie Guerrido in their native Puerto Rico on April 19.
Sorry ladies, Don Omar is off the market. The reggaeton singer/rapper was reported to have wed television weatherperson and journalist Jackie Guerrido in their native Puerto Rico.
The duo, as claimed by People en Espanol, exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, April 19 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico. Cited Puerto Rican newspaper Ultima hora, People wrote on its website that the lavish wedding began at about 6:50 P.M. The bride was claimed to wear "gorgeous Luis Antonio strapless gown adorned with French lace and pearls, and carrying lilac-colored orchids."
Among the reported 300-guests invited to the wedding were fashion guru Rodner Figueroa, musician Ivy Queen, and actress Adriana Fonseca just to name a few. In addition to the menu which featured a variety of appetizers, followed by main courses, including steak, lobster and truffle risotto, there was also 14-piece violin group Violines de San Juan to serenade the newlyweds and their guests.
Omar, one of reggaeton's biggest stars, is known for such hits as "Dale Don Dale" and "Pobre Diabla." Guerrido meanwhile is the weather forecaster on Univision's morning news program, "Despierta America."
