A copy of a long-secret sex tape featuring Marilyn Monroe has been purchased by an unidentified New York businessman for US$1.5 million.
Forget Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson and any other artists who have their own sex tapes. Here it comes the long-secret sex tape of blonde sex symbol Marilyn Monroe that features her engaged in oral sex with an unidentified man. A copy of the 15-minutes, 16-millimeter film reportedly has been purchased by a New York businessman for $1.5 million.
The unidentified businessman has vowed to keep the hardcore away from public view, memorabilia collector Keya Morgan who arranged the sale has stated. Morgan admitted to have recently arranged the sale of the silent, black-and-white film from the son of a dead FBI informant who possessed it to a wealthy Manhattan businessman who wants to protect Monroe's privacy.
"The gentleman who bought it said out respect for Marilyn he's not going to make a joke of it and put it on the Internet and try to exploit her," Morgan said in a statement. "That's not his intention and I would never get my name involved if that were to happen."
Morgan claimed to find the film while doing research for a Monroe documentary. A former FBI agent told him about it, and he then confirmed it by tracking down the son of the FBI informant, who had provided a copy to the FBI.
Morgan who has seen the footage furthermore revealed that the flick, reportedly shot in the 1950s, shows Monroe clothed, on her knees in front of the man whose head remains out of the frame for the entire of the film.
The New York Post cited Morgan as saying that then FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover instructed his agents to try to prove that the man in the film was either John F. Kennedy or Robert F. Kennedy, both of whom were his rivals. He failed though.
One of Monroe's ex-husbands, the late baseball great Joe DiMaggio, once tried to buy the footage from the collector for $25,000 but "he would not part with it," according to FBI files on Monroe that are available on the FBI Website. The original film is reportedly still classified and held by the FBI.
