Initially filed for divorce in December 2007, Sean Penn and his actress wife Robin Wright Penn have both agreed to end the proceedings, seeking to halt their divorce. In a one-page document filed Tuesday, April 8 in Marin County Superior Court, the clerk dismissed the couple's divorce petitions at their request.
The request to dismiss the divorce shows the withdrawal was made "without prejudice." A spokeswoman for Penn declined to comment, and no further details have been made available thus far.
Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn got married on April 27, 1996. They are parents to son Hopper Jack and daughter Dylan Frances. The couple have starred together in several movies, including "She's So Lovely" (1997) and "Hurlyburly" (1998).
Also on Tuesday, Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn, as reported by Extra, have been spotted at an Eddie Vedder concert in San Francisco. They were looking very much back together, it has been claimed. Vedder who's Penn's close friend even dedicated a song to Robin in honor of her birthday.
