David Beckham Busted for Minor Traffic Offense

David Beckham got a traffic ticket Tuesday afternoon, April 8 after being pulled over by a U.S. traffic cop for trying to make an illegal right turn off Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood.

Is arguably an expert in playing with the ball in the field, apparently isn't quite a good driver. The soccer stud has on Tuesday afternoon, April 8 got a traffic ticket while driving in Hollywood.

The father of three young sons was trying to make an illegal right turn off Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood when a U.S. motorcycle-riding sheriff's deputy witnessed his act and quickly pulled him over. The 32-year-old LA Galaxy player was pulled over in his Cadillac Escalade SUV.

David, according to a witness, was hit with an 80 pound sterling on-the-spot fine after a short telling-off. He, moreover, was also warned that he could risk a point on his driver's license unless he goes to traffic school.

Beckham spokesman Glenn Lehrman did confirm the unfortunate to The Associated Press, saying "There was a traffic incident that took place. It was a minor offense and David complied with the officer." Lehrman refused to comment further though, simply adding that no one else was in David's car at the time.
