As the official website of the family animated film has been launched by the 20th Century Fox, the film's teaser trailer has come out on the interwebs as well.
The 20th Century Fox have brought out the first teaser trailer of the forthcoming animation comedy film "Space Chimps" together with the launching of its official website. The video footage takes nearly one and a half minutes to be previewed.
Started with a shot of the space, the teaser then shows its three leading chimpanzee characters, Ham III, Luna and Titan. The footage continues by showing the moment their spaceship was about to be launched as well as the training of the three chimps. The compilation of clips pretty much gives out the idea of the film's comedic tone as it showcases Ham III's slack attitude.
Featuring the voices of Andy Samberg, Cheryl Hines, Jeff Daniels and many others, "Chimps" resolves around Ham, the slacker grandson of the first chimpanzee in space, who reluctantly joins a space mission to retrieve a missing NASA craft and ends up helping other planet's inhabitant to be free from dictator. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 18, 2008. In the meantime, the teaser trailer can be enjoyed below or on its trailer page on AceShowbiz.
