A wedding date has been set and new rumor surfaces by the hour that Kate Moss is planning to host a massive gypsy-themed engagement party before she walks down the aisle.
A wedding date has been set and another big party is coming for Kate Moss. Hot on the heels of her being reported to wed rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince this coming September at her Cotswolds home, the supermodel is said to have been planning to host a huge gypsy-themed engagement bash this summer.
Moss reportedly has confirmed to friends at a private party at Davinia Taylor's house on Wednesday, March 26 that she has accepted Hince's proposal and wants to hold a big pre-wedding bash. The mother of one told her pals, including Davinia, Sadie Frost and Lily Allen, that the party has to be the biggest she has ever thrown.
"It just has to be bigger than any party I have thrown before," Moss told her friends.
"Kate told everyone she wants a big blow-out in the summer, so she has a couple of months to plan it," the Sunday Mirror quoted a source as saying. "They are thinking about having the actual wedding in September, so the plan is to hold an engagement party in August to give them both enough time to recover before their stag and hen do's."
Asked all her friends for ideas for the engagement, Moss became very excited by the prospect of a gypsy theme, which was suggested by Allen. "Kate got really excited and started talking about what dress she could wear for that," the source went on saying.
Moss, furthermore, also told her celebrity friends how Hince, The Kills guitarist, proposed to her. "Kate said he got down on bended knee in Paris underneath the Eiffel Tower. They'd had a few drinks, so she didn't believe it at the time, but she said yes next day."
