Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford Have Split

American Idol winner Carrie Underwood and her actor boyfriend Chace Crawford have split, US Weekly reports.

Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford broke up, US Weekly has claimed. The celebrity couple issued no comment on the break up report and representatives for both of them also declined to comment.

US Weekly reported that Carrie and Chace, who did not go public with their romance until October 2007, have called it quits. Report on that matter arose amidst heavy media speculation that Chace is having a "very friendly" relationship with former NSYNC member JC Chasez.

Underwood had spent Thanksgiving at Chace's parents' home in Dallas and part of her Christmas break with his relatives. "His parents are fond of her ... they believe 'Carrie Crawford' would be a great addition to the family!" an insider told US Weekly Magazine back in December.

Chase has recently turned down rumors that he and JC Chasez were dating. Set the record straight on that matter, he told Kiss-FM 104.7 Wednesday, March 26 that he and JC Chasez are both straight. "We're not dating," he insisted.
