Maroon 5 and Counting Crows will jump in an extensive tour this Summer with supports from Sara Bareilles and Augustana

AceShowbiz - Still on the heels of their 2007 album "It Won't Be Soon Before Long", Maroon 5 will tour across U.S. starting this Summer with the companion of Counting Crows. The two rock bands have teamed up for a headlining tour that begins July 25 in Virginia Beach, V.A..

"Love Song" crooner Sara Bareilles will open the dates up till August 26 and hand out the baton to fellow Epic Records artist Augustana for the rest of the dates that stretch up to October 4 in West Palm Beach, Fla.. Tickets for the environment-friendly tour will go on sale through Ticketmaster and Live Nation on Friday, April 4. Complete tour dates can be found here.

Counting Crows release a new album today, March 25 that is called "Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings". The first single "You Can't Count on Me" has been dropped in February. Bareilles and Augustana meanwhile, are supporting albums "Little Voice" and "Can't Love, Can't Hurt" respectively.

On other news, Maroon 5 is tapped to perform at "American Idol Gives Back" that is slated to take place April 9. They will join other performers such as Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dogg, John Legend, Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie, Bono and many more.
