Nicole Richie has confirmed that she is working on a fifty-piece collection of jewels, which are expected to hit stores by autumn 2008.

AceShowbiz - Is so heavy into issues about motherhood as of late, Nicole Richie can now add jewelry designer into her ever growing career resume. The mother of one is planning to launch her own range of jewelery.
The celebrity socialite confirmed her foray into the business last week at the opening of boyfriend Joel Madden's DCMA clothes store in Los Angeles. "There are new beginnings all around," so she said.
Working on a fifty-piece collection of jewels, Nicole is having her collection hits exclusive U.S. boutiques such as Kitson and Fred Segal by autumn 2008. The range remains unnamed though and details of the style have not yet been released.
Prior to Nicole's confirmation on her jewelry range, rumors were abuzz that she's set to design her own line of maternity clothes. She was said to have been meeting with a top clothing company to discuss plans for the range.
"Nicole is determined to bring out a line of clothes, with the focus being on maternity wear. Her line is going to be clean and simple, with emphasis on clothes that flatter the figure without drawing attention to the fact the wearer is pregnant," a source revealed at that time.
No words from Nicole herself about that report.
