Lisa Marie Presley is set to give birth to twins, Star Magazine has claimed.
It appears that Lisa Marie Presley has an extra-special reason to blame the heavy media coverage on her heavier figure. Not only because she's pregnant, but also because she's expecting twins.
Star magazine claims that the singer-songwriter, the daughter of the late King of Rock 'n' Roll Elvis Presley, and her fourth husband Michael Lockwood are expecting twins. The couple supposedly welcome the arrival of the babies August later this year and at least one of the babies is a boy.
One of Presley's California neighbors tells Star, "Michael told me that he and Lisa have been trying to get pregnant for about a year. He also said that they had a sonogram two weeks ago, and [one] baby opened its legs, and they saw something!' Michael was beaming."
Presley issued a "confirmation under the gun" on her MySpace Celebrity Blog on March 6 that she and hubby Lockwood were expecting their first child together. The post came in response to the cruel comments the news media addressed to her concerning her looking heavier.
"After being the target all week of slanderous and degrading stories, horribly manipulated pictures and articles in the media, I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am in fact pregnant," so Presley wrote on the blog.
Neither Presley nor her people commented just yet on the twins report.
