The publication reported that the producers of the Screen Gems' film have let out confirmation about the quitting of co-star in successful feature film "Ghost". "Mr. Swayze withdrew from the film three weeks to a month ago," revealed a representative to the producers. Still, the official announcement has yet to be let out. Further, it isn't clear whether his absence would affect the film.
The Texas-born actor has been signed earlier to portray a gay cheerleading instructor in the movie about a high school football player who left his team to join cheerleading camp in order to get hitched with women. Supposedly, Swayze would be acting under the direction of first-time helmer Will Gluck.
