will.i.am has tapped a new batch of stars like Jessica Alba and Ryan Phillippe to appear in his video to support hopeful Barrack Obama.
Still going on with his Barrack Obama-pro campaign, Black Eyed Peas' member will.i.am posted the second video in support of the political figure. In the new video, he has tapped a string of new artists, including movie stars.
To name some who participate in the video are Jessica Alba, Ryan Phillippe, George Lopez, Kerry Washington, Macy Gray, Malcolm-Jamal Warner from The Cosby Show and fellow Black Eyed Pea, Taboo. They contribute spoken verses on why they support Obama, backed by a chorus of voices chanting "Obama" and vocalists singing "We Are the Ones" which melody is written by will.i.am.
Alba at one point said her reason, "I would like to see a cleaner Earth for my child that I'm bringing into the world very soon." while will.i.am emphasizes on "This is my America, your America, our America."
The first video from will.i.am that also sees a support of a number of artists like Scarlett Johansson, Common and John Legend was released in early February in black-and-white format also. Explaining then on his reason making the video, will.i.am said, "The outcome of the last two elections has saddened me on how unfair, backwards, upside down, unbalanced, untruthful, corrupt, and just simply, how wrong the world and 'politics' are.
