AceShowbiz - Naomi Campbell is a model patient no more. The British supermodel was released Friday, February 29 from the Brazilian hospital where she underwent surgery Monday, February 25 for the removal of what was described as a small cyst.
"The patient has recovered well from her surgery," the Hospital Sirio-Libanes said in a statement. One of the doctors who operated on her, furthermore, said Naomi is "perfectly fine" and has been recommended to stay in Brazil resting before resuming work.
Naomi herself has through her representative issued a statement to People, Friday, February 29, saying "I would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and concern over the past week and for the fantastic service I have received at the hospital."
Furthermore quashed rumors that she was hosting a party, Naomi went on adding, "I take my health very seriously, so to suggest that I would host a party following an operation is ludicrous."
Naomi was hospitalized in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Monday night, February 25 for the removal of a small cyst. She was admitted to Sirio Libanes Hospital and reportedly flew all the way from London to Sao Paulo to have the surgery.
