Jessica Simpson was confirmed in a press release to perform a concert in Kuwait but her personal massage regarding this was later removed.

AceShowbiz - Giving something back to the community, Jessica Simpson is set to perform in front of U.S. troops in Kuwait. According to a press release, she will join rock bands Disturbed and Filter, comedian Carlos Mencia, and DJ Z-Trip during the event.

"It's truly an honor to perform for the troops," Simpson said in a statement. "Through Operation MySpace, I get to serve my country by doing what I love to do in front of thousands of brave men in uniform. It's every girl's dream!"

The concert will be held on March 10 and broadcast live on MySpace. "For years troops stationed all over the world have utilized MySpace as a lifeline to communicate with their loved ones back home," said MySpace's co-founder, Tom Anderson.

Beside the five confirmed acts, there will be others which will be announced later. Additionally, a cut version of the event will air on cable network FX on April 12.

Just after the press release was published, E! noticed that a message from Simpson on a fansite has been changed, referring to no obligation in the Kuwait concert. The message previously was "I am heading to Kuwait to do a show for the troops, then back in the studio," but later this sentence was removed, revealing only her work on the country album.
