The Third 'Step Up' Film in 3-D

It seems that Disney is detemined to bring the hit dancing franchise to the next level as it was reported that the third installment of the film series will be made in 3-D.

Following the success of "Step Up" sequel to be in the top ten domestic box office, it was reported that the third film will be made in 3-D entitled "". According to Variety, the hit dancing franchise will become the latest 3-D live-action film from the Walt Disney Pictures.

Reportedly, the helmer of the sequel "" has been in negotiation to once again direct the second sequel. Further, the partners of Offspring Entertainment, Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot, who have been the first two films' producers, are going to develop the 3-D film.

Opened on this year's Valentine's Day, "Step Up 2" pulled in a surprising $28.7 million over the five-day Presidents Day weekend placing itself to the third slot on the box office weekend ended on February 18. To date, the film made on $20 million budget has grossed $41.7 million domestically only. Meanwhile, the first film "Step Up" has earned $65.3 million in domestic sales and $114.2 worldwide.

.i would also LOVE to see the main people from the 1st & 2nd part of step up in the third part but would not like it to be in 3D not a really good idea :)<3

i think that if there was going to be step up 3 i think the the main people that was in the first and 2nd should be in the 3rd and not in 3-D be the same as it was but them coming together and doing something so amazing, now that i would love to see.... so i hope if there is a 3rd please no 3D

duh its a 3d movie i think ya do chicki ! haha lol i wud prefer it not to be in 3d it will spoil it! xx
