Former reigning champions, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley have been appointed to reveal the contenders competing at the annual country music awards.

AceShowbiz - Together with Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood will unleash the names that will be contending for prizes at 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Both country music icons will attend a press conference on March 4 at Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
The announcement of the nominees will come a day before the beginning of Country Radio Seminar, an annual conference of radio executives from throughout the nation. ACM and United Stations Radio Networks will sponsor the Paisley-headlined Music City Jam on March 5.
The awards ceremony itself will be held on May 18 at Las Vegas' Garden Arena and broadcast live from the MGM Grand venue on CBS at 8:00 P.M. ET. For more information log on to AcmCountry.com.
Underwood and Paisley are the previous winners of the awards. The former gained Top Female Vocalist title while the latter owns the reigning Top Male Vocalist kudo.
