Petra Nemcova has denied rumors she's dating senior actor Sean Penn after they were spotted together at the Elton John Oscar Screening Party.

Much contrary to the rumors on the street, Petra Nemcova has denied she's dating Sean Penn. The supermodel and the senior actor were spotted together at Elton John's annual Oscar party, held Monday, February 25 at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood thus prompted rumors of a romantic relationship.

The pair attended the bash together and were happy to pose in each other's arms for the camera. Added fuel to the romance rumors, Petra and Sean were also spotted leaving Hollywood hotspot Villa at a little past 3 A.M., Page Six reported, where they celebrated with Penelope Cruz and Oscar winner Javier Bardem.

While all the signs are pointing into a romance, Petra has denied she's dating Sean, insisted "We are friends. He is on the advisory board of my charity."

Sean Penn himself said nothing about the romance rumors. He ended his 11-years marriage to Robin Wright Penn less than two months ago. As of Petra, she previously dated singer James Blunt.

Meanwhile, it's been reported that Sir Elton John's annual Oscar party, which was co-sponsored by the Swiss jewelers Chopard and TV channel VH1, has raised a record $5.1 million for HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment programs.
