The actress who appear in 'Mean Girls' as one of the Plastics has been signed to play the best friend of Megan Fox's character in 'Jennifer's Body'.

AceShowbiz - The co-star of Lindsay Lohan in "Mean Girls", Amanda Seyfried, has been cast in dark comedy film "Jennifer's Body". According to Hollywood Reporter, the 22-year-old actress will star opposite the "Transformers" hottie Megan Fox. In the Karyn Kusama-directed film, Seyfried is set to portray Needy, Jennifer's brainiac best friend who tries to safe the high school boys' from Jennifer.
"Body", which script was written by the writer of "Juno" Diablo Cody, tells the story about Jennifer, a cheerleader possessed by Demon. Following the possessing, the young girl became obsessed to seduce high school boys to eat them. The film is scheduled to start filming sometime in March in Vancouver.
Seyfried was known for her role in television series "Veronica Mars" and "Big Love". She has appeared in some feature films, including "American Gun", "Nine Lives" and "Alpha Dog". She has just finished filming "Mamma Mia!" and "Boogie Woogie".
