The actor and his girlfriend, Ryan Shawhughes, are expecting their first child together. "I can confirm and they are thrilled," says Hawke's representative Mara Buxbaum. "No further details will be made available."
Hawke is father to son Levon Roan and daughter Maya Ray, his children from his failed marriage to actress Uma Thurman. The couple parted ways in 2003 after five years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized the following year.
As of Ryan Shawhughes, she used to work as a nanny for Hawke and his ex-wife Uma. Report on Hawke dated Ryan first arose early this month. In fact, it was claimed that Hawke didn't leave Uma for Ryan. His romance with Ryan was started after he and Uma divorced.
