Milo Ventimiglia has signed to join the cast of Nimrod Antal-directed film about the $10 million armored car targeted to be robbed by the guards.
The "Heroes" star Milo Ventimiglia is the latest Hollywood actor to sign with Screen Gems' heist "Armored". According to Variety, the idealistic hero Peter Petrelli in the NBC's hit series is joined by other big names Laurence Fishburne and Jean Reno to star in the film directed by Nimrod Antal.
Aside from the three additional actors, Matt Dillon, Columbus Short, Fred Ward and Skeet Ulrich have already boarded the drama thriller project earlier. Reportedly, the film that is centered on an armored car guard persuaded by his veteran partners to empty the truck of its $10 million has already started filming in Los Angeles.
Ventimiglia previously was known for his role in television series "Gilmore Girls" as Jess Mariano, the rebellious boyfriend of Rory. On the big screen, he appears as Robert Balboa, Rocky's son in the final installment of the Rocky saga "Rocky Balboa". He recently finished shooting for thriller film "Game" and drama comedy "Chaos Theory".
