After for a long time referred as 'Bond 22', the producers finally revealed the title of the new installment of James Bond movie is 'Quantum of Solace' and its stars explained about their characters.

AceShowbiz - The movie starring Daniel Craig that is long referred as "Bond 22" has finally found the suitable title "Quantum of Solace" as the producers revealed on the set at Pinewood Studios. According to producer Michael G. Wilson, the title has been chosen only a few days ago. It was taken from a story in the collection "For Your Eyes Only" written by Ian Fleming, the Bond creator.

At a press conference, Wilson explained, "It's from a Fleming short story from the compendium For Your Eyes Only. It's uncharacteristic of most of Fleming's work. It's a character study that doesn't involve plots or anything with spies." Further, he added "We thought it was an intriguing title that references what's happening to Bond and what's happening to him in this film."

On the naming of the superagent film, the leading actor Craig told reporters on the set on Thursday, January 24, "It has grown on me. It doesn't trip off the tongue. But why should it?" Further, he explained that Fleming defined the title which roughly means 'a measure of comfort' as "that spark of niceness in a relationship that if you don't have, you might as well give up".

About the direct sequel of the "Casino Royale" film itself, Wilson promised that there will be much more action to this movie compared to the last. He confessed, "There's probably twice as much action sequences. It's pretty much jam-packed. Marc (Forster) has brought a lot of humanity to the characters, which makes it a very intriguing story to go with the action."

The story of the 22nd outing of the British spy film starts an hour after "Royale" ends with Bond devastated by his betrayal by true love Vesper Lynd. On the betrayal, Craig exposed, "He had his heart broken at the end of the last movie and that certainly is a spur for him in this one. I'd be lying if I said there wasn't revenge in his heart. But it's more than that. That spurs him on, but that's not what the movie is. It's not a revenge movie. It's about him figuring a few things out."

Moreover, Mathieu Amalric, the depicter of Bond's villain Dominic Green, revealed that his character's evilness came from within. He said, "We can't guess who the villains are. The villains are invisible." He then added that he modeled his character to some extent on former Prime Minister Tony Blair and French President Nicolas Sarkozy stating, "I've been taking details, the smile of Tony Blair, the craziness of Sarkozy, he's the worst villain we've ever had."

Additionally, the new Bond girl, Olga Kurylenko who portrays Camille describes her character involvement in the story to the reporters saying, "James Bond is after revenge, and Camille is after revenge & They have slightly different goals, but in the end they are going to have to collaborate." Meanwhile, the shooting has began at Pinewood since three weeks ago, and the filming location will take place in Italy, Austria, Panama, Chile and Peru.
