Emily Blunt Confirms Her Casting Rumor in Horror Film

At the Sundance Film Festival on Saturday, January 19, the 'The Devil Wears Prada' young star has given out confirmation that she is going to star in the Mark Romanek's version of 'The Wolfman'.

AceShowbiz - The actress who brilliantly depicted Meryl Streep's proudly ambitious assistant in "The Devil Wears Prada", Emily Blunt, has been cast in Universal Pictures' horror thriller "The Wolfman". The recruitment of the Golden Globe Award-winning actress has been confirmed by the 24-year-old actress herself on Saturday, January 19, at Sundance Film Festival, according to MTV News.

Reportedly, the English actress is going to star opposite Benicio del Toro as his character's girlfriend in the movie based on a script by Andrew Kevin Walker. To MTV News, the starlet who is also known for her work in the British film "My Summer of Love" revealed that she will begin the filming of the Mark Romanek's version of "The Wolfman" in February.

Blunt is currently at the film festival for the showcasing of her two works, "Sunshine Cleaning" and "The Great Buck Howard". In "Sunshine", she plays alongside Amy Adams as sisters who become crime scene cleaners, while in "Great Buck" in which she stars with Tom Hanks and John Malkovich, she is portraying "a fiery publicist hired to stage the comeback of a lifetime," as the program notes describes.
