Academy Award-nominated English actress Samantha Morton and her fiance Harry Holm have welcomed a baby girl, it has been confirmed.
The newborn baby, who has not yet been named, was born in an undisclosed London hospital in the early hours of Friday, January 4.
Confirmed the baby's birth, Morton's publicist, Karon Maskill, told People "It is fantastic news and both mom and baby are doing brilliantly."
The baby girl is Morton and Holm's first child together. The movie star, best known for playing the role of Hattie in "Sweet and Lowdown" (1999), has another daughter named Esme Creed-Miles from her previous relationship with British actor Charlie Creed-Miles.
Morton, 30, and Holm, 27, son of actor Ian Holm and is a filmmaker, first met in 2005 when he directed her in a video for the band The Victims. Holm proposed to Morton on her 29th birthday in May 2006 in Paris.
