AceShowbiz - Australia's Daily Telegraph has reported that Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden and his Australian actress fiancee Sophie Monk have split up.
Benji and Monk had been dating for six months when the rocker proposed to the starlet with a 3.5 carat Neil Lane diamond ring on Christmas Eve in 2006.
Speculation of their troubled relationship first surfaced when Monk canceled a scheduled appearance at Carols by Candlelight, citing "family reasons".
No words just yet from either Benji or Monk. Her father, as well, was reluctant to comment on his daughter's single status, saying "There's nothing to say and I'm best to say nothing. You're best to talk to her manager."
Notwithstanding with the break up report, Benji's twin brother Joel Madden is awaiting for the birth of his first child with his socialite fiancee Nicole Richie.
