Chris Brown revealed in an interview that he has landed a deal with Michael Jackson to do a track together.

AceShowbiz - R'n'B singer Chris Brown has landed a verbal deal with his idol, Michael Jackson, to do a collaboration in the future. He was introduced to the pop king, who is making a comeback, by Black Eyed Peas' member will.i.am.

"Hopefully it will be," Brown told AllHipHop.com. "We are talking but...like I originally talked to will.i.am, because he does some stuff for him. And then when I talked to Mike, he said 'Yeah we'll do something,' so hopefully we will do that record."

It has been known that Brown often cited Jackson as his inspiration, saying that he grew up listening to his music and imitating his dance moves. He paid tribute to Jackson at the 2007 World Music Awards.

Together with Rodney Jerkins, Ne-Yo, Akon, Kanye West, T-Pain, Teddy Riley and a bunch of other renown musicians, will.i.am is assisting the 'Thriller' singer in the production of his new album. Brown himself is not confirmed to have contributed something to the not-yet-titled album.

Meanwhile, it was reported that Jackson is expected to announce a London residency where he will serve a 30-dates tour at the city's O2 stadium.
