Movie

Cast members consisting of Will Smith, Alice Braga, and Salli Richardson were joined by big names like Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, Mary J. Blige, and Tom Cruise at the screening.

AceShowbiz - Bringing bright spotlight to New York City's Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night (Dec. 11), a number of celebrities gathered together at the Wamu Theater to celebrate the premiere for Francis Lawrence-directed "I Am Legend", which Warner Bros. Pictures is slated to launch in theaters nationwide this Friday, December 14.

Big attention surely was directed toward male lead Will Smith as the hunk arrived alongside his actress wife Jada Pinkett Smith plus children Jaden and Willow, who made her big screen debut in the movie. On the red carpet, the actor surprisingly took time to talk a bit about the film not yet being approved in China, jokingly saying to USA Today "it's too big a part of the world to not have a Will Smith movie."

Smith's co-stars Alice Braga and Salli Richardson also cheerfully turned up for the occasion, mingling with the VIP guests that included Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, rapper Ice T plus wife Coco, singing diva Mary J. Blige, and Tom Cruise. A good friend of Smith, the latter eagerly posed with the star's family members before walking his way down to the theater's door.
