Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough and his longtime girlfriend, Leigh Boniello, tied the knot on Saturday, December 8.
Howie Dorough of the boyband Backstreet Boys married his longtime girlfriend Leigh Boniello Saturday, December 8 in his hometown of Orlando.
The pair got married at St. James Cathedral, it has been reported.
Fellow Backstreet Boys were seen attending the ceremony.
"Howie and his bride left the church in a horse drawn carriage," celebrity blogger Perez Hilton quoted a source as saying, adding that guests were then loaded into two tour buses and taken to the reception.
"The whole thing was like it belonged in a bridal magazine," one of the guests told People. "It was absolutely perfect."
Dorough and Boniello first met in 2000 when she was working as the Backstreet Boys' Webmaster. He proposed to her at a family New Year's Eve party on December 31, 2006 at Boniello's family home in New Jersey.
"She wasn't expecting it, and I was quite nervous, more nervous about proposing to her in front of 40 family and friends than about performing in front of 400,000 people on-stage," the boy-bander told People at that time while at the same time revealed that he had managed to keep the engagement to his "soul-mate" secret for more than seven months.
