Keira Knightley is just too hot to handle on the cover of Interview Magazine's December 2007/January 2008 issue. Has gone topless for the publication, the movie beauty offers a hard-to-miss interview as well.
Talking about how she ended up topless for Interview, Keira claimed she herself doesn't even know "How does that always happen?" adding "I don't know. Because I say yes, I suppose."
After that being asked about her feeling towards people who are looking at her as an old-school movie star, she tend to relate their point of view to the films she's starred in. Taking her movie "Atonement" as an example, she explained "the look of my character, Cecilia Tallis, is incredibly stylized and sort of movie star-esque for that time. But I think different people have seen me in a different ways. I started out being very much 'girl next door', and now I've gone into a bit of Hollywood-glamor phase."
Relating her Hollywood-glamor thing to the way she's been growing up, Keira revealed "I think it's wonderful to have those aesthetic fantasies. Those films pretend that you can wake up in the morning with bright red lipstick and perfect false eyelashes and hair; I like that."
Furthermore verifying acting as an escape, Keira admitted "I always loved being transported to another time and place, and I love to be carried away in a fantasy" adding that "When I'm watching it. When I'm shooting I feel like I'm on pause much of the time, because there's a lot of waiting around. You can't focus on anything else, but you can't be completely in the story all the time, either, because there are 20 minutes between takes."
The special issue of Interview Magazine featuring Keira hits the newsstands already.
Of drama romance genre, "Atonement" has been slated to hit the theaters by Friday, December 7.
