Pink Slammed With Copyright Lawsuit Over 'Missundaztood'

A musician named Scratch claimed Pink never paid him the amount that was discussed back in 2001.

is potentially facing a lawsuit set by a musician who worked in her 2001 album ''. The musician, identified as Kyle Jones aka Scratch, claimed that Pink never paid him for a credit in the song 'Respect'.

The case became a copyright infringement when the track appeared in the album with Scratch being named in the featured guest slot but never received finalized payment especially after the song was also included in Pink's DVD release, 'Live in Europe'.

He is now seeking $717,600 damage compensation and put the legal papers against Pink herself, her company Pinks Stuff, Inc. and her label Zomba Records.

When asked about this situation a rep for Pink told TMZ.com, "There's nothing to say on this matter, as it is an unjustified lawsuit."

'M!ssundaztood' sold more than 12 copies worldwide, five of which was sold in U.S.
