Although the extended reunion show for Led Zeppelin is not yet proven true, words are circulating that the band will play in U.S. as the headliner of Bonaroo Festival next year. An e-mail published by Bob Lefsetz's newsletter also hinted the presence of Metallica in the festival.
Plans for the 2008 Bonaroo that takes place at Manchester, Tenn annually is not yet mapped out and a spokesperson for the event has not responded to the e-mail, but Zeppelin is said to be in talks to play for one more show, which is in Stateside. The festival is usually held sometime in mid June.
Zeppelin will have their first show in 27 years at London's O2 this Monday, December 10. Rumors have been spreading that the one-off gig will be stretched to a full tour, a conclusion which had been denied by the band's rep.
Meanwhile, anticipation is running high for Metallica's ninth studio album. Recent reports said that the band's first single from the album may be released through video game 'Rock Band' instead of via the conventional physical or digital release.
