Remixed Britney Spears' 'Piece of Me' Video Wanted!

MTV has opened its Video Remixer contest for Britney Spears' 'Piece of Me', which winner will get a TRL premiere.

Britney Spears is opting a second version of her music video, 'Piece of Me', by asking fans to direct a mash up video for it. MTV, Jive Records and the pop singer herself will pick the winning video which will be premiered on TRL.

The basic rule of the 'Britney Spears Wants a Piece of You' contest is to submit a footage that should be up to 3:34 or less. MTV Video Remixer will provide the materials such as Britney's photos, interviews, red-carpet moments, performances and other footages which then can be taken to make the new video.

Submissions will be accepted up till December 14. A week later on December 20, MTV will showcase the winner on its TRL show as well an all-day run on MTV Hits and online premiere on MTV.com.

In the meantime, Britney's own video of 'Piece of Me' will be premiered sometime in January 2008, according to MTV. She recently shot the video in Sunset Boulevard, sporting blonde wig and a number of body double.
