AceShowbiz - An incident has struck the set for Adam Sandler's latest starring vehicle "You Don't Mess with the Zohan" and had two stuntmen working for the project suffered burns, officials stated Monday, November 26, 2007.
The injuries reportedly occurred when the twosome were filming a scene for the comedy on the Universal Studios back lot. Fire officials said they received the call at 3:47 PM and found one person getting burned on the hands and legs while another on his back upon arriving on location.
According to Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Sam Padilla, both victims, whose identities have not yet been released, were taken to a hospital in moderate conditions. No fire was reported, and officials were investigating what caused the injuries, the man further said.
Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group as the company distributing the flick has already expressed its deep concern on the two victims through spokesman Steve Elzer.
"Our thoughts right now are with the stuntmen and their families and we hope that each recovers swiftly from their injuries," so Elzer said in a statement.
